Day 3: Meeting of minds, and the first task

Twelve of the housemates got a noisy awakening this morning when Big Brother played a digital alarm clock siren in to the bedroom - Makosi however stayed under her duvet for several minutes, no doubt with the hope that it'd drum up yet more nominations for her.
Derek however was awake long before the 10am alarm call, and had been in the kitchen washing up since before 8:30am - at one point he used the time alone to speak his mind... to a wall, and any E4 viewers that happened to be awake early enough to see it. The Eye was there and caught it on video an hour later on E4+1.
Shopping arrives, and then it's THE meeting
Shopping arrived just before midday, including a mamoth 76 toilet rolls, which is apparently half the amount they were originally going to order. Once this had been dealt with the household meeting finally kicked in to action in the garden, with Derek chairing it despite claiming that he wasn't.
Lesley however didn't look particularly interested in the whole affair and turned up her nose whilst Derek was speaking, clearly giving him about as much attention as a bit of dog mess on her shoe. Infact she seemed to find the whole thing like it was a bit of a big laugh - although in all fairness it was a bit.
It seems fairly likely that what was discussed during the meeting will go in one ear and straight out of the other when it comes to the housemate's bedtime tonight, and several commented afterwards that it was going to kick off anyway.
So on to their first task
Big Brother has at long last given the housemates their first task - one which has been done several times before on Big Brother, with each housemate having their portrait painted by a fellow housemate.
Lesley instantly paired up with Craig, who she seems to have forged an alliance with during the past couple of days (or maybe she's just attaching herself to him after realising none of the girls seem very friendly with her and all the other blokes seem interested in Sam and Saskia!?).
White witch Mary quickly chose to partner up with Kemal - the pair of which also seem to be getting on well and have been paying each other numerous compliments and taking great interest in each other. Saskia's portrait by Anthony however didn't paint her in a particularly flattering light, with strange green blotches all over her face.
Lesley says that Craig's picture of her makes her "look like a bulldog" - Craig must be a good painter! Her painting of him was done within a matter of minutes (instead of using the 30 minutes allowed) and had red radiating from around his head, and big red cheeks and mouth, which she claims was picked because he's hot and firey....... Surely he's more wet and woofy.
Sam however is having trouble making a brown colour from the paints (isn't that the easiest one to make? I'm sure at school all the colours made a brown gungy mess when mixed) for Vanessa's face.
