Day 2: Already they're arguing...

Less than 24 hours in to their unknown stay in the house, and the housemates have been bitching at each other, over numerous things.
Wakey wakey!
All but two housemates (Maxwell and Anthony) had gone to sleep by 5am last night, with the pair following not long after.
Derek had been awake for over an hour, tidying the kitchen and rearranging everything to bed perfect, when at 9.45am Big Brother switched the bedroom lights on, which has resulted in an argument - although it'd seem to be a fake one being staged by Makosi, who had been re-called to the diary room last night to have her personal challenge re-explained after having totally misunderstood the instructions.
She's saying that she's scared of the dark, and that it should be her right to have the light on in the morning, and that she only went along with the light being off last night because everyone else wanted it off. There's clearly quite a bit of quick thinking going on from the frizzy-haired girl, although it's causing some of her fellow housemates to wonder what the hell has hit them, and has caused Arsenal fan Maxwell to go off on one in typical Norf Landanah stylee.
More arguments
But that wasn't the only argument. The next one kicked off during a heated stand-off over the shopping list, where a few housemates decided to take control and put themselves in a position much higher up the pecking order than others, and basically running the show.
Wasn't long before a few of the housemates bailed out and retreated to the Loft to rant about the shopping list and how it was "too much stress". It'd seem those that were "in control" of the shopping list were not too keen on getting fruit, and were more interested in getting the range of typical fancy seasonings and ingredients than practical stuff that could easily last a week - after all, how many meals can you do with red peppers, and some cooking sauce?
Even more arguments
And it was the shopping list that caused yet more rows when a few hours later Big Brother called a housemate to the diary room and Makosi rushed off there (hasn't she learnt after last night!?) and came back out with the shopping list and the bad news that they'd overspent by more than £35 - what a cockup.
Before long everyone was barking orders out, which caused yet more anger and frustration and caused everyone to get pissed off with each other... and it continued until the 5 minutes were up and even as Makosi walked back in to the dairy room she was still getting told stuff to add to the list... chaos!
Divisions in the group
There's clearly already a few divisions forming - people not "clicking" with each other quite so well, and only talking to some whilst not being quite so friendly with others. No doubt within a few days it'll start to become blatently clear wheter it's first day nerves or more a case of stereotypes and first impressions which have caused the tensions and dislike between certain housemates.
Unlucky for some
Housemates received their suitcases of clothing earlier this afternoon, and promptly went about unlocking the padlocks... all apart from Makosi who of course is the unlucky 13th housemate, and was given a dud key which wouldn't unlock.
Clearly this got her quite a bit of sympathy from her fellow housemates, which won't do her mission of getting people to hate her and nominate her, and eventually she went to speak to Big Brother about her key not working, to be told that it must be - after all, Big Brother's in on the joke so wouldn't admit it wasn't...
...but after a while she gave up and went to speak to Big Brother again, who said they'd get back to her - and a couple of hours later Makosi was called to the diary room again, where she received a bundle of 100 keys, and was told that one of them would unlock her case.
Having struck lucky before too long, Makosi found the right key and got reunited with her clothing... and also got yet more sympathy from her housemates, plunging her "get the most nominations" mission in even more doubt.
Few drinks... and another row
Housemates had a few drinks this evening, before taking to the sofas and chatting random rubbish... until all of a sudden things kicked off between Kemal and Science. Not too clear what was the explosive comment that made things go up in fireworks but it's resulted in very raised voices and everyone else leaving them alone to thrash things out with Science claiming he's "from the hood - the hood is in England" (that'd confuse Jade wouldn't it?) and saying that Kemal shouldn't descriminate about where he's from.
Kemal said Science shouldn't say things about Kemal's hair and clothing - neither of them seem to agree. Science keeps shouting "do not dis my music, yeh!" and "I am ghetto!" to Kemal, whilst he stands up in a threatening pose over Kemal who is sitting down on the orange sofa.
Housemates have tried to find a quiet spot, with Saskia and Sam sitting in the loft saying how it's full of freaks - a few others went to join them, and then left again with Saskia saying that it wasn't because of the argument that she was up there... it clearly was though. The mics also picked up Kemal's voice of "it isn't because Science and me were debating was it?"... Everyone said no. Clearly it was.
More day 2 updates as they happen...
