Big Brother have introduced a standby housemate to the house, and it'd appear that the papers were spot on that it was going to be Becki Seddiki - but how will this new arrival go down with the other housemates?

Michelle looks like someone's entered her territory, as clearly she was the singing star brunette, and now Becki's here she's lost her edge somewhat. Gameplayers Victor and Jay both look confused - they've already spouted their bitter bile at events that have struck the house previously, describing Emma and Michelle's return as a "fucking disgrace" and it'd clearly messed up their gameplan... surely this will mess it up further, although it has to be said standby housemates rarely last any longer than their first week nominations when they're odd's on fave for eviction.

Nadia's talking to Becki about boobs - saying that she's "only 25" (her profile says 33...) wants her boobs done, with "triangles cut out" and bits "moved up a little"... does the "i wannabe a pop star, and have surgery on my tits" run in the trait of being a Big Brother housemate?

It was widely expected that a new female housemate would be introduced to the house after the departure of Vanessa on Friday, which caused a fairly unbalanced household with half of the girls already gone, leaving double the number of blokes...

It was "routine maintenance" that Big Brother described as the reason why housemates had to leave the bedroom earlier today, and whilst this was taking place, Becki was making herself at home in the bedroom, unpacking her case.

So big shock for the housemates when Big Brother announced "Would Becki please come to the Diary Room", at which point she strolled through the house to cheers from the other housemates.

Maybe Big Brother will give them booze to celebrate - for the first time since the big fight over a week and a half ago... Although, maybe not. Maybe they daren't risk another fight - Michelle certainly looks miffed enough to claw Becki's eyes out right now...
