Day 30 of 71 - The 'Human Games' Live Task

Ahead of the start of the live show on Channel 4, housemates have been allowed to practice with the Human Games items, which include a giant sized hoop and wobbly electric wire device, and a human bowling ball.
Most are taking to it with the fun intended, trying out the various methods of trying to get a person from one end to the other without setting the flashing lights and siren off - it'd appear BB's not switched the "shock" factor on yet.
However, Glaswegian "moody cunt" Jay Cowen (for he and he only appears to love to mention his WHOLE NAME whilst on TV, almost as if he's trying to make it a household name) is striding about looking like aforementioned "moody cunt" in the garden - alone.
And it wasn't long before a chirpy looking Victor joined him, munching on a piece of straw like he seems to have some sort of annoying habit of doing, and the sound was dumped, so no doubt they were both cussing how "fucking ridiculous" it is, blah blah blah boring.
Don't let on that we've rehearsed it...
And in a case of Big Brother coming across as more two faced and fake than some of the housemates (Vanessa, Shell, Jay, etc...), a laminate which Dan read out told housemates that they wern't to mention the fact during the live show that they've already had a chance to rehearse the challenge tasks... despite the fact that him reading that out, and them practicing them, being shown "live" on E4 on the stream... well done Big Brother.
Obviously there's going to be a few last minute suprises that will suprise them, along the lines of the fact that a small electric shock will get the helmeted housemate that has to move along the wobbly bar, and it doesn't seem yet that they've twigged the human bowling ball will mean that they may well just have to become human skittles...
Another gaffe by Big Brother?
Ever since "the fight" the other week, it's been thought that the high-up garden cam isn't quite in sync with what's going on in the house... in fact, it could be several minutes out, and this was revealed to full effect when it showed the overturned party table out in the garden about 15 minutes before it was carried out last week...
...so no suprise then that one minute we see Victor in the human bowling ball, behind bars and caged up like an animal (see the irony in that?) and the next we're treated to a very brief view of the high-angle garden cam... just obviously the producer realised the mistake and cut away to statue/taps/hose-cam as it'd just revealed Big Brother crew in the garden placing out purple coloured "pins" for the bowling.
Live show starts, and the big mouths blab out the secret...
The live Channel 4 show started, and Dan read out the laminate from envelope 1 - all was going well, until Jay Cowen spurted out the fact that they know they can do two of them, and Victor saying how they've bought us inside here (bedroom) so they (Big Brother) could have changed anything outside...
Almost everyone talking about the fact they know they can manage two of the tasks with ease - as they've tried those two already, although they were told not to let on about that fact. The one that they don't know of course is the conundrum, as they've not had a chance to even see that one yet.
First part, and the housemates are BANKRUPT
The first part of the task saw Victor trying to guess the 8-letter word which the housemates were wearing on the sandwich boards... just he clearly didn't have a clue, and didn't work out that it was BANKRUPT that he was trying to sort out... Not quite Bankrupt, but £3000 less in their prize fund for that failure.
Human Skittles
Jay and Victor hurling Michelle along inside the metal ball, plenty of "oh fucks" from Jay, as Michelle wobbled out of control bashing in to the side walls, and it'd appear that the pair who were bowling the ball ignored the rule of clearing any fallen skittles out of the way... which probably means they've failed it, despite the fact that managed to floor every single skittle within the time limit.
So is there a shock in store for the third part?
Ahmed, Dan, Nadia, Marco, Shell and Stuart are the six who have nominated themselves for the task, and the laminate has revealed to them that they've got to all stand on one side, and can't hold the helmet to balance the housemate - something which they'd heavily relied on for the pre-challenge runs earlier this evening.
Shell's been helmeted up, carried across, and not a shock in sight - they actually managed to get her from one end to another without the loop on the hemlet coming in to contact with the copper pipe - quite dissapointing really, as it was that one aspect of the Live Task which was being billed as the main feature for the whole show... Almost as dissapointing as the stinging nettles a fortnight ago.
Results of the live challenge:
£3000 was lost on the human conundrum which the housemates FAILED, but they PASSED the human skittles and the human buzzer test ment that they didn't lose a further £7000, meaning the total prize fund now stands at £74,000. And the show ended in controversy with Ahmed of all people saying that the contract says that the housemates will win £100,000 and that by making them lose money it's a breach of the contract - something which the other housemates had doubts about as they felt it said "up to"... Dan of course, helpfully pointed out that Big Brother can also change the rules at any time... and don't they just love doing that.
