Day 23 of 71 - Emma's gone beyond the point of return

Big Brother have announced that after much consideration, Oldham-lass Emma will not be returning to the main big brother house, and instead will be leaving the show.
According to the Channel 4 Big Brother website, they say "The house is calm as all the other housemates appear to be working through their issues, but we're concerned that Emma's return might increase the risk of a repeat incident".
An interview between Emma and Davina will take place for Sunday night's Big Brother show at 9pm on Channel 4, although it's not believed this will be live as you'd have with a normal eviction.
The leaving of another female housemate potentially opens the way for a new stand-in contestant entering the house, although with this week's eviction postponed (meaning they're on track for the right number of housemates for the final week), and tempers in the house not at their best, it might prove better to simply carry on as is currently.
The Eye is highly dissapointed in how Big Brother has managed this situation - they appear to have kept Emma in the bedsit on her own for far too long, which can't have been much good for her. Also the fact that the eviction and live Saturday task were cancelled because of the fight, makes pretty poor entertainment for TV viewers, because those two events are the high-points in the weeks action usually, but instead have resulted in two full days where housemates haven't actually had anything to do...!
